Description

Parasect & Paras: Even thought they are a land-based animal, they still have to lay eggs in water. They will normally lay eggs in lakes and shallow pools. When the eggs hatch the babies will stay in the water for up to three months, then spend most of the rest of its life on land. The females (Parasect) grow to be almost twice the size of the males (Paras) once on land they begin what will inevitably become a life long pursuit to look like a bump. They shower them selves, day after day, with dirt and mud. Some times seeds end up planting on their backs. They also will dig up mushrooms and plant them on their backs. This behavior is probably as much for camouflage as it is a mating display.

Seel: This is a young Dewgong, once prized for its fur as much as it ivory horn. (It also looks a lot like my cousin's dog Quentin.) It can be found in most artic regions living with thousands of other Seels. The Dewgong will spend most of the day hunting for food for its pup, retuning to a sea of identical Seels, the mother can only recognize her pup by its call.

Starmie: Older and stronger the Starmie reigns supreme in the starfish world. The Starmie, like the Staryu, live on a diet of mostly Shellders, Cloysters, but will also eat any dead fish or animal that floats down from the surface.
