Description

Marowak: When time comes for the female Marowak to lay its eggs it returns to its ancient birthing grounds. They fight it out for the best nesting spot and collect and hollow out the skulls of the long since dead. She places an egg inside each skull and protects it nest day and night, rain or shine, not resting or even eating. When her eggs hatch the mother will either raid another nest or venture out to find a dead adult. Within a few days the baby Cubones can walk and their "helmets" protect their unfinished skulls. After three months of learning to hunt from their mothers the Cubone's horns begin to grow and the drop the skulls and venture off on their own. Every year they are alive the male's horns grow about an inch. The female's horns remain about the size depicted. When a Marowak is critically injured or is sick it will venture back to it birthing grounds to die and pass its skull on.

Victreebel: The Victreebel could fit in the palm of you hand. It eats mostly Butterfrees and Venomoths. Its unusual appearance is both a mating display and for catching prey. When hunting the Victreebel assumes the posture of Fig 2 and releases a chemical that smells like a flowers from a gland under its tongue. The only strange thing about the Victreebel is that the smell it produces does not smell like any flower living today. Nor does its appearance look like any living flower. It takes the same posture (Fig 2) when courting a female only it waggles its waddle. (The females don't have the waddle.) When its beak is closed it crosses. (Fig 1) Its feet and tail are covered in green feathers, its body is covered in yellow feathers with red spots.

that explains the awful screeching noise Jame's Victreebell used to make
