Real Live Pokemon no. 55

Hitmonchan: A misnomer, the Hitmonchan is not related to the Hitmonlee, it is how ever very distantly related to the Eve line. It walks on all fours but rears up onto its hind legs and uses its immensely powerful arms to "punch" at enemies and take down prey. The Hitmonchan has thick bone shells attached to the outside of their "hands" and are textured near the top. These are obviously used to hit things. The males and females have few differences, one being that the males have a more prominent frill.

Rhydon: A close relative of the Rhyhorn, the Rhydon is far less armored and far more friendly. The Rhydon travel in herds and only really use their impressive horns to attract mates and ward off romantic rivals. The herds are led by a dominant female and several lesser males. The early explorers who discovered them found them to be so gentle that they could grab onto the skin-covered-dorsal-plates and could take short rides. But all this merriment ended when the dominant female gored on of the members of the expedition thinking he was a predator.
